Independent retail boutiques and apparel businesses operating physical storefronts alongside digital sales channels frequently struggle with inventory reconciliation latency, overselling, and manual end-of-day register balancing across fragmented systems.
Engineering Approach
We engineered an offline-resilient, event-driven commerce architecture. Every transaction, return, or stock movement broadcasts an atomic event to a centralized inventory service with local SQLite caching on client registers to maintain uptime during connectivity drops.
